During my last two week husky tour in the north of Norway, we were confronted with weather conditions that propably resembled the current Covid-induced situation on the international markets in a metaphorical sense: harsh weather conditions with temperatures down to -40 degrees Celsius, which forced us to constantly take new, unknown and difficult routes.
White-outs, which made the rest of the teams invisible within minutes. Scarce food for humans and animals at the end of the tour.
In such situations there is only one survival strategy: a team on which you can rely and in which everyone pulls together without getting involved in hierarchical competence ranks. We were glad that we had such winning teams!
